Download embedded video 1
An effective trick to download videofiles which are embedded in a webpage, using Firefox webbrowser.
VideoDownloader is an add-on to Mozilla Firefox.
Install it, add the icon to your toolbar, surf to your favorite site with embedded video (video.google, youtube etc.), choose video, click on icon, right click and save link as …, change the extension of the downloaded file to .flv (flashvideo), play file with VLC or Mplayer.
It works also with Quicktime files. Choose a page from the AIAN video index to try it.
