4 december 2010: Non Linear Editing on Linux

Strike is relatively new to editing on Linux, Maniseng curious for knowing what tools to use. Sarah has made a project in Cinelerra and explains the basics of working with the software.
Wishes for the coming year were:
- Maniseng sees Samedies and OSVid meetings are both same frequency, both in the weekends .. if you want to follow both, you have no weekends left .... what to do?
- Frequency of 1 meeting per 6 weeks seems to work, allthough no-one is free for all meetings. Let's keep that.
Topics should be rediscussed. We have:
- An wants to remix proprietary films that have been ripped by Pirate-cinema
- Both commandline and GUI edit tools are interesting material: (Mencoder, kdenlive, cinelerra etc)
- Audio for Video workflows
